The COVID-19 pandemic has required that our entire country take protective measures to prevent the spread of the disease. To try and ensure that healthcare resources are available for severely ill people, if needed, many hospitals have postponed ‘elective’ surgeries that were already scheduled.
A delay in your surgery can be disappointing. You may have made lots of arrangements. Unfortunately the COVID-19 pandemic has created an unexpected national emergency and you may be in a position where you can’t have your surgery until the crisis is under control.
